Editor's Comment - Numéro deux

Since receiving our final audience feedback, we have continued editing our music video. One of the key comments that we received was that the stop motion during the instrumental composition was too long. Therefore taking this into account, I added footage of a drum foot pedal while also adding an additional layer of the female character walking away from the man's house. I synchronised the drum foot pedal with the bass of the song while the footage of the female character walking away continues the narrative of our interpretation of the song. This took a while to edit into the music video but myself and the rest of my group feel this was the right decision and has improved the music video.

In addition to changing the stop motion, we also looked at the beginning of the music video as a couple of people had said it would look better without the very short blackout scenes that we first did as it tied in well with the bass and meant the four short scenes lead up to the house on the beat - leading the audience up the house. However taking our audience feedback into account, it has not had the right effect as "it looked un-edited", so consequently I took a bit of time to think of an alternative method and decided to experiment with white flashes to lead the audience up to the house. This worked well and has made the beginning far more fluent. The music video is now officially finished and is ready for distribution.
